01. Initial meeting
One of our Senior Partners will meet with you at your offices (or one of ours) to discuss your specific goals, whether you wish to sell or purchase a business.
02. Team formation
After engagement, we assemble a team consisting of Senior Partners, Analysts, and Production Personnel within one or more offices globally.
We utilize multiple marketing and search strategies tailored specifically to our client. Our in-depth research enables us to generate a comprehensive list of potential partners.
We negotiate and structure the business transaction effectively. We stay involved through to the successful closing.
Defined by our people
Wyndham Capital is managed by five directors with combined M&A experience exceeding 200 years. Within the last 40 years, we have closed hundreds of business sales, with aggregate transaction values in the billions of dollars. We are just as comfortable assisting founders of smaller individual firms as we are handling highly complex transactions, involving multiple divisions within several countries. We have a fiduciary responsibility to our clients and will always put their needs first.
Mark R. Sage
Senior Managing Director, North America
Mr. Sage has a broad background in private equity capital investments and acquisitions. He co-founded Wyndham Capital Group in 1979. Mr. Sage has personally evaluated hundreds of transactions on behalf of the firm and other partners. He has served on the board of directors of manufacturing, service and distribution companies. Mick D. Clarke
Senior Managing Director, Europe/Asia
Mr. Clarke has over 40 years of business experience and has worked in several industries including metalworking, electronics, plastics, food and medical products. He co-founded Wyndham Capital in 1979. Mr. Clarke has had P&L responsibility for companies with annual turnover exceeding $750 million per year. Mr. Clarke has a Master's in Business Administration from London Business School.
James H. Bursey
Managing Director - Toronto Office
Prior to joining Wyndham Capital, Mr. Bursey was a Principal in the Oxford Investment Group, responsible for the acquisition and integration of $600 million in European holdings. Mr. Bursey has a degree in Economic History from the University of Toronto, and an MBA from Schulich School for Business at York University, in Multinational Management and Strategic Planning. Gary L. Ramsey
Managing Director - Wilmington Office
Prior to his affiliation with Wyndham Capital, Mr. Ramsey was President of a leading Engineered Metals Company and has years of experience in the growth and revitalization of stagnant and struggling companies. He has considerable experience in the automotive, steel, foundry, glass, refractory and powder metal industries. Charles Y. Lee
Managing Director - Beijing Office
Mr. Lee has over 40 years of experience in M&A consulting and has participated in transactions involving restructuring both Chinese and foreign investment enterprises in the domestic and oveseas markets; represented both domestic and overseas companies in connection with their merger and acquisition activities in Asia.
